temperature problem ?

Post by Weedle »

rite guys - i know very little about engines and whatnot

But i have a question - i know its well cold at the mo and there is a little bit af "dieselness" when you start the engine but is it normal for the temp gauge to shoot to the mmidway point after 2 mins driving ??

Am i just being paranoid or do i have a problem ??

is it the thermostat or temp sender ??

or do i maybe need to add some coolant ??

My cars is a 1.4 16v 6n2

Recently done an oil change if this helps !

any help is appreciated guys

I dont know if its a problem it shooting up to the middle.
As long as it doesn't go over I assume its normal.
