how much are you lot paying
had my renewal from privilege £702.45 excess £300 fully comp 1ncb 1fault claim
barclaycard have an offer at the mo ''We guarantee* to beat the renewal premium quoted to you by your current insurer''
gave them a call got it for £694.05 excess £100 'sold'
not a big saving on it but worth it for the excess

£1245 currently, with £450 excesss.
For renewal (next month), the best quote so far is £858 with Egg but as I'm Barclaycard staff I expect them to give me a better deal.

I'm paying £490 for my 1.2 Twist with Egg. Zero no claims (as this is a second car and I can't re-use the no claims I have on my first car). I found Egg the cheapest by far - Direct Line, Axa and MoreThan all wanted in excess of £700. Also with Egg if you phone them up you can pay a bit extra and they'll give you two years no claims bonus after your first year of cover (cost me an extra £20)

I'm paying £330 for my 1.9 TDI Sport with Eagle Star Direct. I have full, protected no claims and get a 15% NHS discount.
It's the least i've ever paid for insurance, the most being just under £1k for a new 2.0 8v Golf GTi I had when I was 23 ish.
Ahhh, the joys of being 30 and driving a diesel!
Cheers,
Leon.

I just got my renewal notice today...
1000 AU$ (400 pound) for 12 months, 100 excess and a maximum no claim bonus.
That's for a Polo S 1.4 with me being a 25 year old driver. Sort of OK, but still quite pricey I think...

someone told me the other day that you dont need Insurance in Australia as your road tax covers personal injury... is this correct?

You probably don't want to hear this but...
£214 fully comp, £100xs. Includes me and the wife, full no-claims (protected), 3 points on the license, and 1 accident 3 years ago.
Thats with Elephant.co.uk
Most we've ever paid was £1225 when we got a rover 214SLi. I was 25 and had 0 no claims
