Parting with my Polo

Post by Silva_B!tch_Owner »

Sadly parting with my polo, just had quite a bit of hassle with it, plus i keep spending money on it fixing it and it just has more problems so I have decided to sell it. Plus it has no tax, needs mot'ing, new tyres, servicing, aswell as the drivers window dont go up or down and it has 2 minor dents.

How much do you think its worth? 54k on the clock, 3 door in Silver, SE model, pretty much standard apart from headunit, door speakers and gti grille.

For the moment I have a company car which is an 05 plate mini cooper in Yellow, lol. Its a change but hopefully I'll be back next summer with another Polo as I haven't done all what i wanted to with this one.

Well, lets see...

- tax (12 months): £115 (assuming 1.4 = lower band)
- MOT: £43
- Tyres x4: £200 (based on price of Toyo T1S)
- Servicing: £150
- Repair driver's door window motor/runner: ~£200 inc labour?

So something like £700 of work needs to be done? :?

Perhaps you should start at £500 under the Parker's list price? Whatever that is :)
