1996 Polo 1. 4 8 v (6N).

Component and/or Version: MOTRONIC MP 9.0 2105

1 Fault Found:
00533 - Idle Speed Regulation
09-00 - Adaptation Limit Surpassed

Any ideas what this may be, I dont get any rough or bouncy idle? I did clean TB about a year ago! also does anyone know how to do a TB adaption with VAG-COM?

the best thing to do is clear the codes you've got and run the car for a week or two the do the system check again to see if you have got the same codes, as most systems get ghost codes they don't mean alot just from previose repair or plugs being pulled off wile the ignions on
Whats Your Engine Code it go through techdata for you.

hi, it was the same fault for my car but after deleting it and disconected the batery for a while it never came back. It happened after changing the air filter. Air getting in through the wrong places
