Hey all,

I just got my car back from the garage. Put it in to get a full throttle body clean and rebuild and tune. The car is now back to its best, sometimes i think the car has cut out but its just that quiet. I was used to it sounding like a black hack and sitting by itself revving....thought it had been posessed by the spirit of Herbie....

I used to be sooo embarrassed when i was sitting at lights and it was revving...the looks from old grannies who thought i was challenging them was a good laugh tho....apart from that old gal who beat me off the lights in a Yaris....gggrrrrr

Hows everyone anyway....been bogged down with work so havent been on in a while.

Does anyone know where i can get the small black connector that connects to the door latch in the boot???? my wiper leaked and its messed up the connector so now my boot light is on and my boot light doesnt come on when i open the boot!!! very very annoying at nyt.

Any help would be great or if anyone has spares....

How much did that stuff cost to do m8? was it done at a vw garage??

nah it was at our local garage.....we've given this guy enough trade over the years i can tell you!! A VW stealer woulda wanted to charge me for diagnostics first then ...... whereas my mechanic mate does that stuff for me for free.

Cost me the whopping price of Â£52.88 (inc vat)

best money i've spent in a long time
