New alloys, new bolts?

Post by Demo_202 »

Just tried putting my current wheel bolts through my new alloys, they dont stick out quite as much as they did on the standard vw alloys, meaning less bolt will go into the hub.

Does this mean i need new bolts or is it safe to use these?

Cheers

I'd get bolts long enough to accomodate the mm difference in offset between your alloys and your original wheels.

You could check how many turns you get out of each bolt, i was told anything under around 6 or 7 is unsafe i think.. but personally i would just buy a set of good propper bolts, if this helps..
