GTi Splitter and Black VW Badge

Post by smash_it_up_666 »

well payday came along so ive just ordered myself a GTi splitter to match my grille and bumper mesh.
also when i was on the phone to VAG parts, i thought, what the f**k, why not buy a black grille badge aswell.
will post some pics up as soon as the bits are on.

I have ordered exactly the same but i also ordered the rear black badge aswell and am planning on colour coding the plastic bits in between. Vag parts were out of stock on some of the items i ordered so im still waiting for my parts

i personally think the sprayed badges can look abit toss, unless really done with care. but i personally like the idea that ive still got the chrome one if i want to change at some point for whatever reason :)

I have 2 chrome front ones, 2 black front ones, a chrome and red GTi grille badge, a black GTi badge and 2 grilles

I saw a front one that had been sprayed at the GTi Festival and it looked a bit naff because it had stone chips on it which looked white as it had chipped the paint off.

And spray paint is a bit more that £2, as well as ideally needing some wet and dry, plastic primer and possibly laquer.
