Centre Bumper grill

how do u remove the centre bumper grill? need to take it out so i can fit my gti one. I tried fiddling about with some plastic clips behind the splitter but i dont want to break any of the clips so i need to be sure how to remove it.

its an absolute c*nt to get out,
what i did after hours of f*cking around trying to be carfull with it is, get a coat hanger, unwind it, hook it through the top at 1 side, then out the bottom at the same side. get another coat hanger and do the same at the other side.
put something on the bottom of the bumper indent to protect it (i didnt and it didnt get damaged but just to be safe), then pull like f*ck, mine snapped into 3 bits but it came out.

as above, right b***h. I used a piece of old electrical cord or string and threaded it thru
there are clips all around the edge of it
just had another though, perhaps you could use a coping saw to cut the thing into small sections, going thru the diamond holes to the edge, say in half or four pieces, should break out easier then - that is if you don't want to save it
