Newbie, please welcome me!

Post by Jay's MK4, Euro Stylee! »

Hi there everyone,

im new on this forum, have been reading posts on this forum for over a year now but only just managed to register, as i tried before but never recieved the confirmation email, so i cudnt sign on, nor would it let me re register as it sed email adress was already registered.

This is my baby, i bought her tottally standard early last year. She is a black 1.4 SE.

i think she is lookin fairly sweet although i have got plenty more alterations in the pipeline, but being a full time student money is tight n funding the mods takes some time! Firstly i have plans to have her totally resprayed in Black Magic Pearl, as there are slight areas of rust and other imperfections in the paint which need tending to.

Also high up the list is to deck it on Supersport coilovers, 80mm front 70 mm rear, she is currently riding at 50mm front n 40mm rear, n the wheel to arch gap is still pretty hideous. unfortunately she scrubs on the back even now with passengers in, so some slight arch rolling is gonna be required.

other planned mods include a euro spec nearside rear light to delete the reverse light, and also rear wiper removal.

thanks for lookin peeps, and let me know what you think, jay.

Oh yeah and sorry for the poo photo quality i dont have digi camera yet so these were taken on mobile.

In simple terms it's a LHD rear cluster that will have the red fog where our's has the reversing light.

So instead of having a reverse light and fog light, there will be 2 fog lights.

Car looks good, i was expecting it too be pretty gash but its not bad at all, only thing im not keen on is the bad boy extension. is it welded on or is a plastic one? each to their own though mate, and the planned mods sound cool, keep up the good work

Cheers guys, thanks for the support,

And the bonnet extension is a fibreglass bolt on, its a bit cracked, were cracked before it even went on. Im after gettin a weld on one before the car gets sprayed. I respect ur oppinion in not likin it, but i reckon it looks alrite, dont look like a chav motor, and the pics dont rele do the car justice.

lol, shunt think il be sellin the wheels any time soon im afraid spent 6 months decidin on which to go for, whilst finding the money! only got these in february.

cheers again, jay.
