some technical(ish) help needed

Post by TERENCE »

ok so i have been wanting to modify the din sized unit underneath my head unit so i thought about attaching a hinge to it so basically stuff will be hidden from view, maybe engrave a logo on it....?
i know where to get the hinges from and every other little bit (model shop) but does anyone know where i can get a bit of the material thats the same colour as the surround and more importantly what does everyone think?

Simply get the VW DIN sized blanking plate... cut off the clips and you have a perfect size 'door/flap' in the correct material for your idea

or if you starting getting really messy > as u did say about maybe playing with logo's, lettering etc why not see if u can get hold of some vw interior spray for the finishing touch
