The car is by no means mint, having covered nearly 120k, but it is very solid and the 1.6 engine is nippy enough!
Anyway as he can't really wash the car where he lives now, and was down this weekend yesterday I decided to give it the full works. The car hadn't been washed for around a month and covers around 150 miles a day, so as you can imagine, was filthy!
I started off washing the car with Zymol auto wash, this was followed by a polish with nielsen polish and finally finished off with Turtle Wax original wax to seal it all in. Its a big improvement to say the least, around the wash jets you can still see how the paint was before, faded pink, very dull and heavily scratched, now it shines like a good 'un
The wheels were also washed with Wonder Wheels as they were so filthy (still not perfect, but a lot better!) and all trim, etc... dressed. Also went around the car with the touch up pen

To sum up the difference it has made, my mum came outside and went "this ain't his car"
