GTi Boot Light Problems

i noticed that after many struggles in the dark that the gti does actually have a boot light. ive just changed the bulb and it still does not work. does anyone have a solution or could it possible be a fuse issue, if so what number is the fuse for the boot light??? Thank You in advance

I'd be interested in this as well - mine's not working at the moment either, but I've not had chance to even change the bulb. Fingers crossed that'll sort it for me
