Side Skirts

Post by LeMeph »

Has anyone had any experience with fitting side skirts? If you have did you buy them for a polo or opt for skirts from another motor and cut them to fit?

I only ask because a friend of a friend put sierra cossie skirts on his new micra  (i dont know him hes a mates mate honest  ) it does look quite good though! If you excuse the rest of the car obviously. I was curious if anyone else has tried this out?

If this magical technique is indeed feasible (which it is god damnit!) then what skirts from other motors would you consider for your polo?

Well eventually maybe, if the oppurtunity arises and i am able to get some on the cheap then id rpobably take them but not fit them till (like you say) i get a bodykit because otherwise it would look odd.

I was just curious if any skirts other then polo designed ones would look good, like a BM's, cossie or somthing. As it owuld no doubt be cheaper if it ever come down to buying some and the design would be less abstract and in your face then alot of purpose built bodykits.

ah very true, and if everybody ahs them then whats the point! Hmm more thought on this is needed really. If anyone finds some pics of nice skirts and puts them up here i can photoshop them onto a picture of a polo to see if they look any good. Im gonna try that out now actually... just needs some skirts, but which to choose. Even if its an outlandishly strange suggestion please make it im rather bored and this could potnetially provide as much laughter as that dodgy green polo of grilled horror from ebay!
