Removing passenger seat..
OK my passneger seat has came of its runners, could sumone please tell me how to remove the seat. as ive never done anything like this.. and will i need any speical tools. thanks in advance.
hi mate,
no special tools needed, at the front of the seat look underneath in the middle and you'll see a 5mm allen key bolt with a 10mm nut which stops the seat sliding too far back. undo this and take it off.
next take the plastic covers off the runners, one long one next to handbrake (slide seat all way forward to get it off) and an end cap against the door sill.
then just slide the seat all the way back and with a bit of a push it'll slide off the runners altogether and you can lift it out.
5 min job mate
