Personally, I would prefer 3 doors hatchback. Have a look at this http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/ca ... ull=SEARCH
There is a black Polo 1.4 16V 3 doors, and it has only done 52,000 mile on the clock with full VW service history. I reckon this is a good buy! What do think of it?

Kind regards, S.

wots so wrong with 5 doors  (i don't mind how many doors my car has!)

any 1.4 16v 100bhp polo is a good bet and for and 1997 model that is a very low mileage! average miles for that age of car would be over 100k by now!!
if this is going to be ur first car then go for it as long as u know u can afford the insurance!!

i'd personally go for the one you've spotted
its in pretty good condition by the looks of it and in one of the best colours aswell!
if i didn't have a newer shape, thats what i would have gone for

Its mine :D

Insurance isnt actually too bad... youll be surprised. Just shop around, "Adrian flux" is the cheapest price for young male drivers.
