Possibly another GTi on its way

Post by Dangerous Dave »

I'm off this afternoon to test drive a 2nd hand MK5 Golf GTi if I like the DSG gearbox chances are it should be mine in a week if not I'm going to order a new manual 3 door in black with 18"/Xenons/Centre Armrest/Highline Computer/Winter Pack.

Polos been a good car to me over the last 4 years but I think its time to move on, also noticed that you can already pick up a new Polo GTI with leather for under 14k from a dealer down south but I need something a little bigger.

Well the deed is done, I am getting a black MK5 Golf GTI with 18" and a winter pack. Managed to get the car straight away as its was coming into be the garages demo car but I managed to buy it before they registered it all going well I should have it within about 10 days, I've had to let my wanted spec drop a little to get the car straight away but I can retro fir the Xenons as the car has headlight washers alreadyand get the bits to fit the armrest. I can't wait to get it now, other plus is the insurance is only £80 more than the Polo coming in at £380 for the year.

I will be sorry to see the Polo go (and its Xenons) its severed me well over the four years of ownership and still looks good compared to the new Polo GTI which I noticed its red paint is well down on quality compared to the old GTi

I was expecting it to being the region of £600-800 I had to ask them to double check it after they told me the price.
