boot problem

I was closing my boot when the right hand side arm came off it's connection on the boot lid itself, it was too late to stop the boot closing and it has jammed shut at and nasty angle - i tried to open it but there was a clonk and the boot opening handle now appears to be attached to nothing. My open boot light is now on!!! My question is does anybody know/is it possible to somehow open the boot from the inside?
