right kids, i need to get rid of the "insp2" warning that cums up on the dash.

how?

Unless anybody knows any tricks of the the trade,the only way to get rid of it is to find a mech who has a VAG service switch which they plug in to the ecu/computer to reset the service interval, they may charge for it as you obviously did'nt get them to do the service.There is german firm called WURTH who trade in the UK sell them for about 80 quid + VAT.

I thought you held the odometer reset button and then turn the key once so the lights come on, or something like that

Have a quick search m8, there is a thread on it

Or it should be written in your VW handbook :)
