6n2 foglights from eBay

Post by 8080 »

Just got my foglight setup together. I bought most things on eBay, worked out a lot cheaper than the €250 / £170 I was quoted at the dealer.

Foglamps + €7 charge for paying by Paypal. (In german -put Polo in under Shop-Suche)
Made by TYC, not OEM, but they work, fit well, seem to be well sealed and are E-marked.

Euroswitch
Made by VAG China, works and feels fine. It is for Mk4 Golf, and i think it has a slightly different edge to the original, but you'll have to b crazy to even notice it

Finished off with bulbs, side grilles and fixings from dealer. It all added up to around €140 / £95 for me.

I got mine standard factory fitted :P

hehe nice idea and good price. I'd still go for the OEM fogs though, should be fine though, being E-marked

Yeah, all fitted and working. It was a good saving for me (€s), but for £s it might not be. Depends how much you're willing to pay for OEM really.
I can post up some pics if you want

I have an OEM headlight switch for sale, including switch for front and rear fogs, if interested?
