rad fan

got to have a look at my sisters n reg 1.6 16v polo gl at the weekend , the fan isnt operating at all , any tips on best way to check everything to save me getting a manual , sensor location , which wires which etc .thanks .

a common fault is the switch n stat for the fan mine went a wile ago ,
loop out the switch with a piece of wire then try it with the stat n see wen the fan come on if you no wot i mean
