Brake fluid change

Just had my 2002 5door PoloE put through 4 year service. Local VW garages wanted to charge me additional Â£50 to change brake fluid. I've always done this myself on previous cars, and looking at the Polo I can't see any problems. Does any know of any?

no i cant help, but how much did your garage charge for the service, i need to service mines soon

Excluding the brake fluid change, but including Â£44.15 for MOT, I was charged Â£284.89 including vat. Another local VW garage wanted to charge Â£50 more than this.
