tdi overheating

Post by rmurphy5 »

I have a 2000 1.4 tdi polo and recently it has started getting hot. I checked and there is no heat in the car suggesting an airlock or something stopping circulation. Anyone have any idea where the thermostat is or if there is anything i can have a look at to try and remedy this?

Thanks in Advance

Hi mate

I know this won't help you but mine has trouble even getting upto temperature sometimes, sometimes it sits at just over 70 then other times it goes up to 90 ! i can do 25 miles to work and it sits just over 70 all the way there !!! Like i said this wont help you but atleast it will bump the thread for you !

Good luck in sorting it though !
