Wheel Question

Post by Arnoldo »

Would these size of rims look well on a polo or not? Just not sure? Also would they be road legal and pass motd?

Cheers

Front - 7x14 et35

I have these widths and offsets on mine, looks ok, the front sit in a lot more than the rear though which protrude an inch or so.

They scrub loads on mine at the back but I am running it rather low. It doesn't help I have 215 rear tyres. Definately get some stretched ones on there.

I don't wanna raise the back of the car anymore though as the gap between wheel and arch seems to much as it is. Mine are 15's as well which makes it worse.

Speaking to an mot tester, apparantaly it cannot fail on wheels protruding. Although this doesn't stop the cops. None have said anythig to me yet though...

Whats the clearance like at the back? Was planning on extending my arches at the weekend but if 195's dont scrub might not bother.
