Brake discs and pads for my 1.6 GL '98

Hi,

I think I need to get some new front discs and pads for my 1.6GL 5dr.

Any recommendations and how much should I be paying roughly?

I'm just going to by the parts and get a local mechanic to fit them.

Surely someone must have some recommendations for brands and type of discs and pads in their own setup.

Not looking for larger discs just standard size maybe grooved, drilled etc... just looking for a decent quality combo of discs and pads.

just go round 2 ur nearest carparts shop mate an get them 2 order a set, if u have solid discs, u may be bale 2 replace them with vented but they may not have the groove, if u want a groove ur gonna have 2 pay a bit for them as there gonna be like buyin big designer clothes, if ya get me, then ull prob have 2 buy good pads 2 go with the discs as standard ones may get worn dwn much quicker, im not sure if im right like but thats wot i think anyway.
