rite i had a headunit 4 a few months now, n everytime i take the key out the ignition, it resets so i have 2 redo the bass trble sub etc everytime i get in the car, now the wire that is ment 2 have the constant 12v goin thru it, so that it wud remember these things, is there n has 12v running thru it, so why doesnt it remember my settings?? can anyone help lol soz 4 the essay

I had the same problem... two wires need changing over not 100% sure which two so I wont take a guess as Im not thinking to clearly at the mo anyway.

But its nothing major... Maybe take to audio shop who shouldn't charge more than a fiver

Should be wired:

Red to Yellow
Yellow to Red
From head unit to car loom.

As opposed to usual ISO wiring red to red and yellow to yellow. Not sure why VW's are like that :roll:
