Pedal box f****d again

Well its safe to say im pissed off. Ive had this fixed before and its funking expensive.

The part itself is cheap as chips but the labour bumps it right up.

Could I do this myself?

this has just happened to a mate of mine, he fones the local vw scrapyard up an they came an picked his car up fitted a new pedal box in it an took it back to him for 130 quid. probly worth givin that a try if all else fails

How do you know when its the pedal box thats broken ? i'm worried mine may be on the way out?

ye it creaks alot and i also noticed a crack in the welds on mine, i temporally fixed mine. but vw said they can do it through a safety recall[/list]
