looking at a set of 16 x 8, et 35, reckon these will be fairly hassle free? also are 195 45 tyres the ones to get for a bit of a stretch?
cheers guys, any help/advise appreciated.

Should be ok as long as you dont go too low. Should be alright at -40mm. 195/45 will be perfect for stretch. 195/40's prob be a bit better for clearance and will stretch good to. You may need some small spacers to clear the shocks unless you have coilovers fitted. I have 9x15s et 25 and they clear ok at the rear.
What rims are they?

I'd defo suggest rolling your arches, its dead easy and only takes 10-20mins a side. I've got to do mine a bit more now the 9's are on.
Spacers would mess them up completely, though thinking about it you may need them on the front. I have 8x15's on the front and had to remove the wheelarch liners, but they're ET20.
Is that an 8x16 pictured? As that dish is mental!
