hey guys just a quick question...

can you adjust the drivers seats, height wise? i took a 1.4 60 bhp polo for a test drive 2day n really liked it :D but i forgot to check how adjustable the seats are. i know they move forward n back, jus wanna know if they go up and down.

how do you move them up and down? I swear i can't on my 1.0l E polo. Wierd or what :P

There is a little lever on the left-hand side (of the driver's seat, right-hand for passenger) towards the back of the seat. Pull it up and the seat can then be moved. Mine is on its lowest setting 8)

no you cant on my 1.4e , just went out n had a look after reading this and theres no sign of any levers down the sides? had a good hunt about!

Must be a GTi thing :? I assumed it would be standard across the range :(

when i had my old seats i neva had height adjusters but now i got gti interior and seats i have now got height adjusters. :lol:

mine has the lever on the side of the seat but it doesn't move the seat up or down it just tilts the seat backwards or as i call it 'pimp mode' :D

i never had height adjustable seats in my 1.0l :(
wish i did coz one of the resons for selling was because i couldn't really get comfortable anymore!

u can on my 16v, but it just has a gti interior minus the tacky 1's on the seats :P

ah dammit! i was really hoping it would have an adjustment on the S or SE models. i dnt like driving really high up.

the only thing i could do is upgrade my seats right? how much would you guys reckon ill be spending?

get yourself a colour concept. you get height adjustment, backnforth, folddown, removable, heated, leather, recaro, bucket/sports shape......and thats just the seats :lol:

nah but seriously i would have though the se would have height adjustment. its not the end of the world though is it?

lol well i guess its not. its just that when i went to test drive the polo, i saw a golf in the show room and so i decided to take a peek while i was waiting for the salesman to drink his coffee, and MAN was it roomy! well compared to the polo it was really spacious inside. and now that i can adjust the seats it feels like im going to be sacrificing comfort. hmm i think i need to go back to the dealer and have another sit in the polo...
