Lowering Polo 6n

Post by Polo C »

Have just got myself a mk4 polo and have found its got alot of body roll, very un-nerving going round a corner..

Would lowering the car help much, and by how much to make a noticeable difference??

The car does have alloys, which has improved the handling a small amount but still isn't great..

Cheers

just lowered mine 80mm and it feels like its on rails!!

not ideal for everyday driving though lol.

I would reccomend going 60mm on shocks and springs.. looks sweet and handles a lot better!

Lovely.. Was thinking 40mm and only on springs as the polo is only a run about car to and from work.. is it worth just putting springs on..??

With the wind today im getting blown all over the place.. its like driving a boat..

i had 40mm springs on before and to be honest i didnt notice much difference from standard. i suppose it was ok as a cheap option but in the long run i think you would be better off with a shock and spring kit?

they are only about £130 delivered
