Rear speaker size?

can anyone tell me the size of the rear speakers in a gti?

AFAIK they're the same as the fronts mate

They are 17cm, and in case you are wondering the front door speakers are teh same size too. If you use the Search function there are lots of posts on the subject, takes just a few seconds

The 'E' & 'S' models got a BETA head unit and four speakers (two tweets two mids), so no rear speakers in those cars.

The 'SE' and above ('Colour Concept', '16v' & 'GTi') got the GAMMA and six speakers (two tweets four mids), so these have the rear speakers.

So basically no, not the same across the whole range

I've got a GTI and im 99% certain I haven't got rear speakers. I got the tweeters on the passenger and drivers door, and the standard speakers in the front door. How come I haven't got rear speakers aswell?

I'm sure you said in another post yours was an import, if it is that will be the reason.

Another point is that the 5 door Polos have 8 speakers a tweeter and mid in each door.
