tech specs?

Post by polo2k »

i dont usually post in here but im wandering if anyone knows how much a stock g40 charger (or a modded one) puts out
also if possible the belt speed, or the size of the stock pully`s (crank and charger)
and one last thing which is a little trickier;what ol pressure does the charger requre and how much (litres/min)?
sorry for all the questons

I know that the stock charger pulley is 75mm in diameter, I think the max charger rotate speed is of the order of 10-15k (based on the 16k rpm bearing). I will be looking at the belts on my car soon so I will measure the lower pulley, I will dig out some definite info and post them here.

What are you planning anyway? (Super curious)

I seem to remember the charger would create about 0.6-0.7bar in a standard car. Can't help with the actual displacement/time measurement or oil either I'm afraid. Modded charger with 67mm pulley would raise output to around 1bar, again on an otherwise standard car
