couple of things done over winter so heres some pics.

lowered 40mm,
magnex twin round backbox with full stainless system
GTI splitter
pressed numberplates
White LED'S in angel eye rings

Were u get the plates and for how much? Are they the legal ones? Car looks really well. Im surprised how nice she sits for just a 40mm drop too !!

the plates are not legal (even tho they are GB font and correct colour) purely because they are pressed metal rather than reflective plastic!
i have some on my car at the moment and have not had any issues with the police, they have even driven behind me at times and done nothing!

i got mine from www.dubmeister.co.uk and they are around £30 a pair!


ps- 15s with a bit of a dish and lower profile would look simply mint!

U see this topic came up before on another forum I read and an actual cop said that the only prob was that the plate wasnt reflective not that it was metal. But arent those ones reflective?

some rough plans for the year are smoothing, possible rollcage, coilovers, new interior and possible engine swap

Yes you can, mines are reflective metal pressed plates!

Car is looking good paul! And agreed with above, dont get new whels....just get a much lower profile tyre and your sorted!!!

Can you get me a pic of the halos on at night.....need to be sure i am liking them before i go ahead and buy them.
