Lowering and wheels questions

Right due to me being a poor student and the fact that i just splashed out on a new toy for myself i can't afford coilovers

So i was wondering which would be the best spring and shock combination to lower the car 50mm??

the next think that i would like to ask is for some advice on wheels, want 15" maybe 16" wheels with a nice polished lip on them, was thinking of keskin kt3's or schmidt space. Any other ideas??
