Dual Mass Flywheel.

Anyone know if the 6n2 GTI's have one?
As the mechanic who's going to repair my clutch thinks that my problem could be to do with the mechanism inside a dual mass flywheel. Apparently if it is this then its going to cost me £400 for the flywheel alone!

The car uses a 3 piece clutch kit, so no, it doesnt have a dual mass, as the clutch cover is part of the flywheel if it does.
