Service, MOT and new wheels!

Dropped my car off at the garage this morning for 60k service, MOT and new wheels are getting put on at the same time. Hopefully no nasty expensive surprises!

Not bad, passed Mot (woohoo!) and service was fine. Although wheels didn't go on because my original wheel nuts weren't long enough - picking new ones up tomorrow.

Seemed very cheap when I went to pick it up, he charged Â£105, didn't realise til I got home that he was supposed to have written Â£145. Think I'm going to be honest and tell him he undercharged me because I'm planning on using the same garage for as long as I'm living down here and I'd feel guilty if I didn't as they are only a small buisness!

Don't do it, it won't hurt this once

One of the girls at VW charged me the wrong amount on purpose once because she thought it was too much for what had been done

(I'd had my windscreen washers cleaned out because they weren't spraying right, VW wanted 30 odd quid but she charged me Â£17 something

)

Lol, thats cool. I'd probably not mention it if it was a big vw dealer, but its a 2 man band so they need the money!

Yeh, I'm really looking forward to it, will be the first show I've been to!

I'm picking up my new wheel nuts today so wheels will hopefully be going on tomorrow!

M&H Autos in Goldsmith Avenue in Portsmouth. VW and Audi specialists, Martin the mechanic used to work for VW - my family have gone to him for the last 12 years.
