induction kit

hi there about to fit a bmc carbon filter and when i took the original cover off the engine and about to fit it i noticed there are two holes one at the back where i think it goes 50mm and one at the front just under 50mm what does this one do??

when i look at the cover the two holes are joined need help asap please!

the ones at the back dont do anything, only two holes attatch the case neil which are at the front which just basically screw into these two holes, if that is what your onabout?

no no see the large hole nearer the front in the centre of the metal part?

Thats just the top of your manifold mate, thats where the air box rest on top of it !

nope, you can remove that mate, all it does is sends warm air to heat the engine up quicker, iam removing mine soon

hi guys cud any1 help me im trying to fit an home made induction kit i av but cud any1 tell me for the 1.0 mpi model all the pippes and that from the airbox wat do i need to do with em wen i take the air box off do i need to little air filters on the pipes i take out or wat do i do with em coz im kinda not clued up on this lot cheers if any1 cud help
