Hi everyone,
I have a 6N 16v. Sometimes when I started the engine then drive the car for about 2-3mins. There is some smells of the petrol in my car. Is that normal? Do you think I have to replace the petrol filter? or Do you guys think I have to replace something else? Cheers

i had a similar problem, i always had a waff of petrol, got in the car too, looked under neath, filter was leaking a little, new one and cured the problem, Mine was on a 6n2 tho. I dont know either if this will be your prob, on my car it is located at the back, sitting behind the fuel tank, have a look to see if leaking.

Many thanks for your advice. I will have a check on the filter, and see whether there is any leak... Cheers...

Is it simple as that?? I thought it would be a nightmare job to carry out, as I think anything to deal with the fuel is difficult and not simple as I thought... Anything that I have to be aware of? Cheers
