Engine randomly cutting out

6n Polo 16v: I guys i've got a problem with the engine cutting out and total switch off when ever the car feels like it whilst trying to startup or even when the cars already running. Sometimes keep trying start and won't, any random attempt starts the engine up.

Seems like an electrical problem and already changed the distributor, spark plugs and lead and even the induction along with cleaning the throttle out to no avail.

Engine diagnosis showed '00059 speed signal missing', since I found that out at another garage, they'v messed it up more cos the engine idles qute low and feels lke its idling on the verge of stalling. Put my foot down and feels like im driving a milk cart cos won;t rev quick enough to increase any real speed. NEED HELP COS IM GOING MAD
