Knocking noise Argh another problem!

Post by polopowah »

Hiya guys

well my car has now developed a slight knocking noise, when im steering right and its coming from the front right wheel.
it seems louder the slower i go, what could this be? worn bush?

seems driveable but i dont want the car falling apart on me! im lowered -80mm with 16's with minimal tyre scrub on front and back

im pretty sure its not a scrubbing noise though because im use to that on the rear!

help!
cheers

I'd suggest wheel bearing, they sound louder when on lock if they're on the way out. It could be something else though.

I got mine done on the 1.6 6n for about £80 mates rates. So depending on where you go up to maybe 120 as a guess. Get them to check thats it first obviously.

Thinking about it, this might have been what I had done. For some reason I said bearing, silly me reading too many forums at once
