Central locking problem

Hi

I have a problem with the central locking of my Polo. Yesterday, my missus had to call out the AA as the key got stuck in the passenger door. The AA guy managed to get it out using a bit of WD-40 and I suspect brut force. Since then, the lock barrel on that side will no longer turn (not even a bit, seems absolutely jammed).

Now, when I unlock the car from the driver's side, all the door unlock as per-usual, but when I lock the car, only the driver's side locks. No sound from the central locking.

Has to be related to the key getting stuck?!

Would welcome any ideas of suggestions. Can't really afford to take it to garage just for this.

Probably the little switch connected in the door lock - it hits a microswitch which tells the other doors to lock
