Which fuel is better for our 16v?

Hello everyone,

Which fuel is better for our 6N 1.4 16V?
BP 97 Octane?
or Shell super unleaded?
or any others???
What do you reckon?

Shell V-Power all the way - its almost 100 RON (or octane). I use it all the time!

I tried optimax and ultimate in my 16v and it had a negative effect - even after a few hundred miles. any slight effect was probably a placebo.

it ran worse, for sure. perhaps slightly more alert to the throttle but it was negligible.

switched back to normal unleaded after a month and was much better regarding smooth running.
