Polo gti
Hey everybody im mark from falkirk newbie here own my company called prestige detailers and kenny decided to treat me to his lovely vw polo gti
here a write up of teh day
Well today it was the turn of Kennys G's polo gti for the Prestige Detailers Prestige Treatment
so the car arrived looking in a not too bad condition and with kenny looking tired as usual
Well the Process Went like so
Exterior
Pre soaked with Karcher
Pre Wash with Megauiars Shampoo Plus
Wash With Shampoo Plus And microfibre wash mitt
Wheels were treated to Autoglym Clean Whells Followed By Poorboys Wheel Sealent
tyres had chemical guys X-shine dressing applied
Car Was Dried With Sonus Der Wunder towels
Car was then clayed using Megs Quick Detailer
Polishing
Polished Via Porter Cable 7424
only used Megauirs Number 83 on a cutting pad as the swirls werent too bad
Paintwork was gave a coat of Collonite 476s Using a black finishing pad
Interior
All plastics Cleaned using All purpose cleaner then plastics Treated to interior Finesse
inside and outside windows
carpets and seats sprayed with fabric cleaner and Softer Adgetated and hoovered
so this is how the paintwork was looking before the pc
was some marring and swirling but wasnt too bad (really need a better swirl spotter)
Me hard at work
After the pc'ing it was looking fairly nice and clean
Decided to choose the colonite 476s on the
black as i find it brings out the flake quite nicely on black so 476s applied by damp black finishing pad
and now the afters weather wasnt on our sides but it stil cam eout nice
so all in all a rather successfull day i would say

Out of interest is there any reason why you dried the car before claying it?
