PD160 Intake help!!

Post by daa709 »

Hey guys,

Stupidly bought a pd160 intake without thinking I have a petrol not a diesel (lesson learnt )..

Buut, looking at the old one and the pd160 - they're the same on the intake end, but on the engine end, the pd160 seems more square. The petrol intake also goes left, not right (but thats can be fixed by turning it around).

Anyone got any ideas of fitting it to my car? I don't know if Seat will want it back now I've opened it AND made them order it.

Thanks,

it fits straight on mate, iv got a polo gti and had no prob

so long as you got the pd160 intake and trumpet then you simply un do and remove yours and fit the new one, its a perfect fit

end of, mine took all of about 3 mins to fit inc removal of the old one

Use the screws from the standard one.

PS turn it over so it points right.

Would be great if there is actually a way to fit it, otherwise I'll just end up having to sell it!

Thanks
