Removing front grill surround

Could someone please give me some advice on this, this is the part that runs underneath the lights and around the front grill.

it is a 1L R reg polo L.

remove the actual grille,,which is straight forward,,then rmove the two 7mm nut things under the indicators and slide it toward you..have fun.

you have to take the grill off first, which is just a few clips accessed with a screwdriver from the top, then a few at the bottom. You can usually reach these with your hands while gently pulling back the grill.

Once the grill is off take out your side indicators. There attached using a small screw that needs a 6 socket if memory serves...

Then slide out the indicators and let em dangle. Now revealed to you is more screws, same size socket as before i think and voila your done.

hi, to the thread opener.. i, like u, (wouldnt that last sentence sound really weird without the commas :? ) really hate how that grill surround thingy looks and am looking for an idea to change it, how did u do? any picts??

I didn't swap it for a different style, i just replaced it cos it had a big hole in it.
