FK HIGHSPORT - Swaybar Links (aka drop Links)

Due to buying my highsport coilovers from german ebay i only gt the coilovers alone. Buying the kit brand new you would gt the coilovers, wrench & the drop links.

i gt the wrench from GSF , & also gt the drop links but unfornatately they were too long and looked exactly the same as the standard ones i need replacing. so i will be returning them , there also took 6weeks to order.

"the links are used to avoid contact of swaybar & driveshaft when car is extremely lowered" - this is the problem i have had now for a while.

If anyone knows a store that sells the drop links apart from GSF your information will be most apprieciated.

i can help as i have just replaced the drop links on my FK Konigsports. the droplink i had on the car before and after the coilovers were both about 11inches long.
the new ones are around 7 inches and i bought them from Big Boys Toys and cost Â£50 and they are made by v-maxx and they fit on the FK kits.

Â£10 delivery aswell from holland.

Have you actually tried/fitted them though?

Although they are the same size, you'll notice that the ball joints are more stiffer hence they eliminate the anti roll bar hitting the driveshaft. My car still has these and its on the lowest position - no knocking at all

fk kits come wit hall the components. i'd say you've been ripped off if the kit didnt come with all parts.
i got my kit from germany and got everything required

I think you'll find that FK have shorter drop links only because the mounts for them are in a different place to VW.

put the two side by side and the FK drop link hole is actually about 2" lower than where VW have them.

They manufacture them in a different way, hence shorter drop links. obviously this changes the geometry of the set up.

dont think ive been ripped off only paid Â£95 posted to the uk

anyone got a pic of the actual link that comes with the kit, the ones ive got are the exact same size but the ball joint is facing the opposite way so is impossible to fit??
