Polo TDi Sport and recalls?

Hi everyone.

I've been wondering where I could ask this question then remembered Josh's little sideline

My wife has a three year old Polo 1.9 TDi 100bhp Sport and it's due it's third annual service (I don't bother with variable). It's never been near a dealer since she's had it and instead gets looked after by JBS in Chesterfield. However, I did wonder if anyone is aware of any 'soft' recalls that may have happened over the last three years? I don't mean safety ones where you're notified anyway but little tweaks that get done when you go for a service or something.

What made me ask was that for example VAG have the thing going on at the moment with the 2.0T FSI engines. My A3 got reflashed when it went in for a service recently. They don't make a big deal about it, it just gets done as and when the car comes in.

Anyhoo, sorry for the long winded post but any help would be appreciated.

That its self is 4 years old.

I feel I may have had something done to my GT not long after I bought it when it went back in for it's airbag sensor problem. I'll have a dig round tonight and see if it's any relevance
