since my car came back from my garage (replaced throttle boddy) i noticed a decrease in power, its hard for someone who is not the perminent driver of the car to notice but its very irritating, its a bit hard to explane whats going on but i'll try, it seems like the rpm's are rising slower now, and i have to press down harder on the gas to exelerate..
hypothesis, opinions anybody?
decrease in power

Yeh whack the airbox off and take a look. I recently tightened mine up on the 1.4 and produced this:
Not a massive grin, but definately a smile. Better response. It was very nice.
To do it is a piece of p***. Have someone go push your throttle down and have a look see how far the butterfly opens up on the body.
If its not goign all the way you need to tighten that bad boy and to do that couldnt be easier.
Theres like a gate kind of thing on the rigth hand side where your cable comes out off and meets the throttle body. At this gate you just pull up the slidy thing that holds the wire in place. Tighten, and put the slider back on. Its that simple. Cant think which way you pull it and that but its common sense trust em if i can do it then you can lol
