Gonna be changing my DV to a GReddy DV that is off a Seat Leon Cupra. Anyway it is an ajustable DV, does anyone know if i1ll need to change it? and if they are easy to fit?

again only had experience of forge and yeah very easy to fit as its another re circ valve, im assuming the greddy one is an atmospheric one and if so youll need to find a way to bung the recirc pipe to the air intake, or so iv heard otherwise youll be losing your boost pressure
the lad who bought my old red polo gti fitted an atmospheric dv and lost a good chunk of power by doing so as he found out, he was loosing spooling speed given by the original recirc valve which he removed
if you do it and do it right its ok, but iv heard the engine management comes on as the pipes giving no reading at the sensor as its been blocked, so youll have the engine light on
i just went for the forge one as iv had one before, it looks good, works well and is uprated, not as we need it tho as our apr remaps do not max out boost pressure
but the standard recirc valves seem to go quite easy and i never wanted the hassle for the £70 it costs
