Post by Hardcore »

iw as just wondering, if i have my reg plate taken off, and them big VW silver round signs off the back off my boot, and have them filled n and sprayed. would it vibrate loose with my bass and all crackle off? and would it still be legal to put the reg plate at the verry bottom of the car..??

if you remove the vw badge the hollow thats left should be filled with a welded in disc of metal, not a load of filler. If you do this and use flexible filler to smooth it over it will be fine.

The number plate can be anywhere as long as it's visible and lit at night.

o ryt. well i know a guy that owns his own shop. and hes giving me discount for when i fit a body kit, so i was going to get everything done at once ya see.i was just wondering. if he filled it where the number plate was, i was thinking it may crack and fall out.

if anyone wants this doing..i can get it cheap for you..but you would have to drive all the way to derby:O

lmao! no its not a chavvy one. i like my car to be sleek and tidy, not cheap and tacky. its not a full body kit anyway, basicaly just a bumber and side skirts.

kipper yes he would be able to do this. and JoeG07 he would be able to de-handle , fill the space and spray it for very cheap, exept he wouldnt be able to fit the mechanism you require for thebutton or what eva you have fitted to repace the handles if you get me. if you want i can get you his number but ill PM it to you personnally. also if you come to derby to get it done, ill meet you somewhere and drive you to the workshop. there fore youll get discount, specially if you have something done at the same time as me....
