My brake fluid cap was broken and my brake warning light would come on every so often, so i got a new one....with the sensors on the top (1993 polo)
took the old one off...put the new one on...stuck the sensory bit on the sensory bits on the cap like it was on the old one...and now the warning light is constantly on...i looked at the "warning light test plunger" (i quote from haynes
So i dont know why the light on the dash is now constantly on. Any ideas?
My brakes have felt a bit sh1te since the cap broke.....im thinking of getting my neighbour to help me bleed them.... i do seem to be taking longer to stop, obviously it isnt that bad and i dont know if its just me being paranoid, i havent been driving long so its hard to tell....im not sure if not having the cap on properly can let air in or not? and therefore affect them? and i dont really know how badly it would? like if it would be not too obvious until you need to do an emergency stop or something.
im hoping this isnt dangerous as i am still driving her?
